Cup of tea anyone?
Winter is almost here and the tea is back to warm up our days and evenings.
I love a god cup of tea or coffee (even better) while sitting next to a big window watching the winter outside. That’s why I like this picture. It was taken exactly 2 years ago in a tea/coffee house in Detroit while outside was raining.
The picture was a spur of the moment thing with no planning (that’s why the stain is there
) but I still like it. I would prefer however, to know what could be done to improve this image if I was to take it again – this time putting some thought into it before (and having a better understanding of light and photography)
Hanging on the line
NOTE 1: If I’m going to link to pics in my flickr account I have to be carefull NOT to remove them afterwards or else I get a post loike this one. I will have to upload the poicturer to the blog directly as soon as possible.
Sadly I had to change the template of the blog because the commens were not visible enough. So with the new theme comes a new photo to kill.
This photo was taken with my new 70-300 lens. I saw this image that promissed to turn out nice but unfortunately it didn’t. I did no post processing on it so maybe that’s why but I can’t be sure of what to improve on.
Do you think this picture deserves to be killed and buried or does it have some potential if processed right?
Of the balcony
Here it is. This photo “Of the balcony” was taken in an old area that is now part of Jerusalem and is called Ein Carem.
The picture was taken with a “HP PhotoSmart C850″ camera and had the following stats:
Exposure: 0.017 sec (833/50000)
Aperture: f/10.4
Focal Length: 52.2 mm
ISO Speed: 100

Now you can kill my pic.
Welcome to Kill My Pics
Welcome to Kill My Pics.
This blog’s entire purpose is to get you, the reader, to criticize my pictures (pics for short). Every week few days I will post a picture I took at some point or another and will let you criticize it.
Every week few days one of my pictures will be “hung on the wall” for you to kill. The main idea behind this blog is for me to get better at photography and hopefully, as the critiques get more serious and advanced so will others. As nice as it is to get feedback on the lines of “this is a great picture”, or |”this is nice” or even “wow! great” it doesn’t help me learn what I can do better next time. This is what I hope my blog ,with your help will do for me.
Because of the idea behind the blog and it’s name I have to approve each comment before I let everyone see it but unless the comments are inapropriate I promise to post them all.
One last thing before I show you my first picture; All pics are taken by me and are subject to copy rights (unless I have stated otherwise).
Ok, and now to the picture:

Here is the full size picture.
